Hi Everyone
I received some dreadful news yesterday. A good friend of mine Stuart Roberts has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. We have been friends since childhood. Developing a passion for angling at the same age. He is an avid fellow carp angler.He is only 38. The following are his words ..... I actually beat cancer 4 years ago. But it returned in July. I had an op. Which as of 2 days ago I got informed had been unsuccessful and I wouldnt make xmas. We managed to rush a wedding through and marry my lovely wife Louise. Unfortunately this also leaves behind out 3 year old girl. 6 and 8 year old boy. The eldest which is autistic. Louise also has to elder children from previous which are being incredibly strong helping.
A go fund me page has been set up via the chasing chunks Facebook group. If anyone can offer any support to him and his young family we would be eternally helpful.

Feel your pain. Been in the same predicament, having dodged the bullet afew times
Terminal was mentioned ... 2 YEARS AGO, but i´m still out there on the bank, and REFUSE to give in, no matter what.
My Doc says i´ve already used up 4 of my 9 cat lives, so 5 to go ... that should last me a lifetime
Find strength in those loved ones you have around you ... make most of the life you live now.
Find peace within yourself. ... don't count the days, make the days count. Pain is real, but ... so is hope.
Always find time for the things that make you feel happy to be alive ... FAMILY !!!

Thank you for the kind donation to Stuart's family. No idea what the emails are about that the last post claims. This is as genuine as it comes . This poor lad who I've known for over 25 years is dying leaving behind a young family. I've donated myself and didn't get any emails, so maybe you went on the wrong thing. Either way please don't put people off donating anything they can.
