when i was buying all the solar bobbins stuff 20yrs ago i always bought the stainless stuff, from them ball hangers, pozi boss, double hinged arms, chains, all stainless kits for the actual bobbins, got loads of the stuff sat in a old fox tackle box.
if this keeps up im gonna retire off it all!

Wow i have loads of old solar indicators, chains, stainless bobbin heads, end caps, swing arms, telescopic arms, butt bangers, quiver locks and hockey sticks.
Perhaps its time to cash in and buy a new motor now?

Broke my solar stainless steel baiting needle last week. The needle snapped on a frozen boilie. After seeing the eBay prices it was like looking at a crashed Ferrari by the roadside - well gutted

Thats what the old solar stuff goes for these days. The night glow bobbin heads go for £100 each for just the bobbin head. I got £86 for an original yellow and black weigh sling about 6 months ago. I also got £75 for 3 tiny mag lock adaptors that screw onto the indicator chains and they were only £3.99 each when i originally bought them years ago.

Last year on ebay i got £65 for a Solar carbon finish baiting needle. The fella who won it messaged and said it was a bit more than he wanted to pay, but he needed it to complete his set!!
