Anyone know if you can use any non Korda branded coated braid ie similar to the Hybrid Stiff with the Krimps?

I don't see why not. Krimp your chosen hook length and see how it performs on a strength test..

I have used them on esp semi stiff tungsten hooklink and had no slipping when tested with two pullers

FWIW I've contacted both ESP and Ridge monkey who have both said it's not recommended

definitely don't use on coated braid even hybrid. I've used boom etc with no issues but when I tried hybrid it snapped so easily. now not saying that would happen on a fish but not worth risk.

Not had an issues with any of mine,I will definitely be checking them again but I have given them good pulls when first tied them up

Ive crimped the hybrid and found it stronger than a fig of 8 loop knot and in basic tests it was well over 20lb before the crimped hybrid gave.
To the op the only way to know what your hooklength is like with crimps is to try it, tie some up with a crimp at one end and a knot at the other and test to destruction, personally the only coated braid i have ever crimped was hybrid stiff when i tried it but have always used knots with every other coated braid as they have always been neat enough and strong enough.
