Hi all! I'm having problems with mud building up on the sides of the tyres on my fox explorer and with there only being a small clearance between the tyre and the axle uprights, it's clogging up there and causing a right pita.
I seem to remember there was a thread on the relative merits (or not) of different tyre options but I can't find it. Does anyone know of a solution to get round this?
I get on fine with the barrow-as a whole But can't help but feel that this particular problem can be improved on

You obviously need to spread the uprights where they are close to the tyre.
Quite a simply job if you know someone with a welder and a few bits of steel.
A narrower tyre might help a little but the basic design hasn't allowed enough clearance between tyre and upright for when the mud gets sticky.

Thanks for the input but I'd like to try a different tyre option before I start adding fixing points and having to knock up a new axle.
