I have 3 Darent valley 10 foot carp rods, currently in a 12 foot 3 rod hold-all and looking at replacing with a appropriate 10 foot hold-all....any recommendation.
Rods would be set up with standard Shimano 8000 baitrunners attached

Hi mate. I've used 10 footers for years now and have tried most suitable holdalls/sleeves.
The best that I have come across are the Kevin Nash rod skins (I had the single and double versions). These have much better protection than the rest, and are a great design.

Bit off topic I apologise, I'm looking at getting a set of the same rods, what's your honest feedback on them I'm using sonik vader 10ft rods at the moment but hear the DV ones are a better playing action
I use the sonik SK tek 3 rod 10ft holdall with a extra single rod sleeve on the outside for my spod/marker rod the DV SMD rod in 10 foot, its got plenty of pockets for nets and slings and bank sticks can also add a brolly onto it to carry

I've just got some Tackle box 10ft cfx rods and settled on a solar tackle 10ft 3+2 holdall and really pleased with the quality. The material looks like it will be very robust.

I have the same solar hold-all in a 12 foot and did not realise they did it in a 10 also, nice bit of kit

I prefer the more retro look of cork and standard two section rods, for the money I think it's hard to beat the DV range, more of a traditional action rods towards through actions
