I've been offered a good price on a set of these. Standard build.

Has anyone got a set? How do you find them? A friend of mine has the 3.25 stealths and he says he feels they are slightly under gunned for big chucks. I'd get the 3.5lb.

I have got a set of these 12ft standard build in the Stealth 3.5lb, lovely looking rods. They are quite stiff but will give you a good chuck for long casts, I will be looking to sell mine once I get a small resin chip sorted on one of the spigots. I brought them from a guy on here, but have found after having different brands the Harrisons tend to suit me better - personally.

They are good for medium to longer casts, but not for extreme distance in IMO.

I have the rods that your mate has. Nice all round blank. I could easily crack off with 15lb line if I wanted to. I would imagine the 3 1/2 Tc are a very powerful rod and a bit stiff to be a pleasure to use on a daily basis, could be wrong

Century make rods for fishing situations and they do exacltey what they are made to do for me. I had some 3 1/2FS for a couple of seasons, long range bag rods, I could have cast half an house brick with these

Can't you take them, or one out for a test?

Thank you for the replies. I'm actually glad that you've said the blanks are on the stiffer side. I'm not a fan of soft blanks so I think these might suit me perfectly. I need all the casting help I can get. :-)

Not an option to take them out first as they are new, and I think they will need to order them in for me.
