Done few nights on both lakes still no carp

Both lakes can be tackled if you are a big caster, for instance, if at Hightown, casting a single into the sanctuary area is usually good for a bite or two from the pipe swim.
If at Northfield ( White lake ), from works point cast over just to the right of caravan point, a distance of 145 yards if memory serves me correctly, always did well with those tactics .
Good luck, they are busy pressured waters these days and have been for a number of years now.

Been ropes between the banks for over 10 years on Northfield, chuck is about 110 now I recall.
I fished Hightown a fair bit but not for 10 years or so now. Best advice I can give you.... Ignore pellets, bright pop ups, dips etc.
Use big hard fishmeals and bait heavily. If we get a lot of rain, and the lake rises significantly, head to the North end, Annexe area.

I have not fished there for many years and nor would I with stupid casting restrictions !
Back in the day, if you could whack a lead, you would be amongst them and I had many a big hit on both lakes by doing just that.
