Could you recommend some good places in Lincolnshire? I am based in Spalding and willing to travel within 1 hour. Mainly looking for quiet places forb 24/36 hours sessions.

Bluebell (won't be that quiet at the moment), Gerards in maxey (runs water, few fish on there need retiring), Maxey syndicate (over the road from gerards), Ferry meadows (this is a large day ticket water that not many people fish), Langtoft lakes.
There are quite a few others in the area of Maxey but their names escape me.

It looks like Langtoft lakes has changed in the past 5 years i've been away from the area. Shame, it had some nice fish in it.

Good suggestions, just a word of warning on Gerrards in Maxey. They had a fish kill in the summer of 2019, I believe it was fairly substantial sadly. I also believe however that it was restocked, but to what degree i don't know.
Certainly worth phoning ahead or trying to find out some more info on the lake to confirm in my opinion.

Langtoft had some moster fish but what happens there now i do not know.

I looked into fishing it about 6-7 years ago, catch reports were small but what did come out was good. Very hard water I heard.

I was in the syndicate and I can assure you there was no monsters
Doubles twenties and a few low thirties with one un caught 35 plus

I did yes,had the pleasure of watching them spawning while drifting around in a boat,confidently say I saw a number of fish well over 25 lb with more than a handful considerably bigger. A few years ago now, I left a year or three before Gary Bayes joined.

I thought Langtoft had been closed down for fishing to the public and turned into a residents only park with wooden lodges around the lake?

Yep all shut up shop. Few good originals in back lake before stockies went in, couple decent ones in the square and some proper ones in lodge. Me mate fished it when it was all wild and lodge was joined to the back lake. That's when it was proper. They still reside in there god knows what size they go to now could be surprises as it's been left alone for a fair while now. Fished Fourways couple years back and used to sneakily have a walk over there and can assure you there's still some good uns about in square lake.

Spot on, that many naturals in there for them to eat. As I have said in my previous post I have seen some cracking fish in there although one evening a very experienced angler and myself saw a fish jump out in the middle of the lake that we will never forget bearing in mind the distance we were from it it was enormous., a very very dark fish as well .
