Also interested as in how far can they cast with a pva?

I got them in 10ft 3.00lb Cork very good rods sold my Fs Ctx and passed on the E-class gold for them, but I would never buy them in 12ft with that stupid ugly unnecessary 50mm eye.

Are they very soft compared to other 3lb tc rods? How far can you cast with them mate?

Still interested in 10ft 2.25tc but can't find them in UK for a look at.

They are less stiff in the butt section than most rods (Ctx, E-class, Tx-2 are all to stiff for me)

I can cast 104 yards with my previous rods (Nash dwarf 10ft 3.25, heli rig setup with Fox distance lead) I have the feeling I could throw further with the Cast'izm (better control) but I only fished at 70 yards with them, this summer I do bigger waters

Dont think youre going to have much luck finding them over here m8 - ive only ever seen them in Daiwa euro catalogues - its a shame as they seem very high spec at a keen price. ( the guides are a bit marmite though )

Daiwa had another v high spec euro range ' Shogun carp' (Not the Shogun XR ) which have been discontinued for some reason
