Looking for some new distance rods and the shimano tx2 and tx4s look good in the 13ft intensity. I want to fish 140ish with no leader, does anyone have either of the rods and could provide feedback?

Also is there much difference between the two?

Look at Terry Edmonds on Facebook, he uses these and chucks them miles.
