IN a similar way to the post below about ss3000's been using my tournament linear reels for years now and recently wondered about a change to penns or emblems. Anyone tell me if its really worth it or would i be better off saving my money and buying something else???

Wondering about casting and general feel of the reel...

What reels are they? Linear S or X bait runners or something else?

If they're in good nick get them serviced. £30 a reel plus postage two ways £120 must be worth it you can always sell them on afterwards and it add the the price you get for them however you may be thrilled by the difference.

No they aren't worth it I have the Linear X 5500 and a custom reel expert told me they are not worth it due to the quality of internal parts. Use until they die or get rid.
