Hello chaps do any of you have experience with wood finishes. I have a couple of custom ss2600s with african blackwood handles (or so I'm told, certainly looks like it) but the varnish supplied never really dried and was always tacky. I have rubbed them down and they look great but i would like to seal them somehow so they won't take on water. I have used the lord sheraton wood balsam which has given them a beautiful finish but I'm not sure this will be enough, any help would be massively appreciated as i know nothing about working with wood finishes
