i've just aquired a VW T4 from the brother in law...
its a caravelle with a full width rock and roll bed in the back (ideal for dogging

my eldest lad (he's 9) wants to go night fishing & fish from the van...
We usually go to Todber - and fish wadmill - which is not my cup of tea but fits the bill for him as we get loads of action.
We need a venue that has the following:
1/ Park next to swim so he can sleep in the van - I'll put my brolly up next to rods etc.
2/ good head of carp - should have a few during the night etc (we are planning on going end of Oct , midweek in half term assuming we aint locked down again)
3/ we are in East Dorset (Ferndown) so somewhere not too far... Dorset , Hampshire etc etc but could be open to somewhere a bit further that fits the bill...
Any help appreciated

Broadlands must be worth a shout, not sure how many swims you can park on though as not fished it for a few years

i dont think my 2 usual venues fit the bill of "constant action throughout the night".... which is what i need for my lad
as for broadlands and coking - not sure we can fish out the van on all of the swims...
Need a venue which will give us some action (not after monsters - just a few bends in the rods to keep the lad happy) and somehere we can deffo fish straight from the van

Why not stay with Todber and fish Big and/or Little Hay's for a change of scene. You can fish nearly all the swims from your van.

still om the lookout for a fairly local venue where we can fish from the van & hopefully have a few.....
