Hi guys, just picked up a set of Shimano xtc,s when when turning the handle it doesn't flip the bail arm back into position. Surely they are meant are meant to, as I can hear a clicking. Am I being daft here?
No, that's a feature. They're supposed to be like that as annoying as it is.

Nowhere near as annoying as the bail tripping on a big cast which is why it's like that.

Cheers lads. I've got a set of daiwa big pits and the bail arm flips back on those, so i wasnt expecting it. Its hardly an issue, just wanted to make sure they weren't faulty.
