I learned yesterday of the sudden death of the hugely popular Roy Homer. Long time committee member, and membership secretary of Rickmansworth Conservative Angling Society.
Roy was a fantastic man, always welcoming, friendly, smiling and liked by everyone. His passing is a huge loss to his family, everyone that knows him and The Cons fishing club. Along with the rest of the committee he dedicated years to making the club what it is today, in my mind one of the best tickets in the country.
A great man who will be very sadly missed.

What an absolute gentleman. I had the pleasure of picking my ticket up from his house, him and his wife were very friendly.
