On one of my new lakes, the ground is just so hard, its almost impossible to get my bank sticks in, so have decided to get a rod pod. As well as just fancying a change!

I can't decide which to get, out of the following:
Avid Carp Lok Down Compact Pod or Fox Stalker Plus Rod Pod

Very interested to see if anyone here has either and their views (both good and bad) on them

I own, but never use a pod. I've got an old x pod plus, it's rock solid as far as pods go. Have a look on eBay, plenty for sale.

I had the original Fox pod but recently bought the Fox black label pod as its so compact. Expensive but worth it if you have the cash to spend.

Actually I took the plunge and got one from eBay today as it goes.

black shadow (original pod design models). Done me well since the late 90's.

Stood the test of time.
