probably get the piss taken here but was wondering if its OK to feed goldfish crumbed boilies in a tank

I should imagine your tank water will soon cloud up a bit.

I have a tropical tank and wouldn't want to put crushed boilies in it.
But you never know

If your filters can handle it and you crumb it up fine enough that the goldfish can eat it, and you only put in a tiny amount. Then you should be ok. Otherwise it will just rot on the bottom and screw up your tank chemistry. You should only really be feeding just what can be consumed fairly quickly. Think how big just one boilie is compared to a goldfish. That's a lot of food when compared to the small amount of flakes they'd normally eat.

I do put things like cucumber in my tank for my bristlenoses, but even then just small amounts. The tank chemistry can run away from you real quick.

Crumb is too messy and will cloud the water and get sucked into filters too easily.
Try air drying for 24 hours then cutting into little cubes with a stanley knife blade. Or just feed coarse pellet.

Well the liking the slk paste and s7 paste I have put in there going mad for it
