Anyone can tell me what's the difference between both reels?
As far as I know the cl4 is 100g lighter and has 2 more ball bearings.
Is the price difference reasonable or do you think the XTD is good enough?

defiantly go for the cl4.....
the xtd are buttery smooth, cast a dream and look the mutts nuts.....but
the amount of agro you'll have with line going behind the spool every time you set the rod down will do your head in. that's the reason I sold mine and got some daiwa 5000ts.
ive heard nothing but good things about the cl4s so id defiantly go for them over the xtds

The Ci4 has quicker drag as standard , different reel body material , hagane gearing and to loosen the handle you winde the reel handle backwards
