I've had my barrow a few years and it's got a few signs of rust, I can deal with the surface stuff easily enough, but what should I put in the channels to protect it? I've regularly given it a squirt of gt85 inside but I still see signs of rust at the spigots/sliding sections etc when I break it down, is there a better product to protect these bits?
It lives outside 365 so I need to nip it in the bud before the rot sets in over winter

Waxoyl or a comparable product. Apart from rust prevention it's sometimes used to lubricate sliding parts.
Apart from its rust prevention properties it stays where it's put.

That also looks good, I'll have a look at a data sheet later as it sounds very similar to a wax/oil I use for wood finishing and I've got gallons of that

I am a lover of acf50. I use it on everything including my barrow. A little goes a long way

Mines lent against a fence on my syndi in all weathers 365, buy a new one every 5 or 6 years.

If a squirt now and then doubles that lifespan I'll be happy, it seems wasteful to just let it rot away

This - Apply as thin as you can get it!

Use it on my motorbike - incredible stuff.
