My current rods/Reels
2 x Sonik Vader x 12Ft 3.00lb with cork handles
2x Daiwa emcast 25A
Would like to switch to 10ft rods
2x sonik Extractor 10ft 3.25lb
Reels: Sonik Extractor 5000 or do i better keep my 2x Daiwa emcast 25A?
Pro for me on Sonik extractor reels
-Only 415 gram
-looks goes well with the rods
But no idea how good the are quality wise

Maybe it is worth purchasing the new rods and then try them out with the reels you already have and form your decision from there?

Do not buy the xtractor reels. Go into a shop and have a look for yourself. Cheaply made, spool wobbles, line loves to go behind the spool (i asked re sellers on eBay if this happened to their reels and it did so not just my error). I had mine 2 weeks before selling, just look on eBay sold listings and you'll see how many people have sold them on already for a new reel.
Save yourself the hassle and get the emcast or what I use on my xtractors okuma 6000 inc. awesome little reels for £50-55.

Got them after scouring this forum for what reels people used on scopes/xtractors. I've had ss2600 when i owned dwarfs which have a lovely clutch but for me didn't cast too well, tried the soniks didn't get on with them.
I can't remember the user on here but he was singing their praises. I can only say the same. Just don't expect QD, i thought i'd be bothered by this but everything else makes up for it, they really are a solid reel.

Quick drag (one turn open/close) is a must for me, Daiwa emcast 25A was also no quick drag but by removing the spring it was, hope it"s also possible with the Okuma 6000 inc

Nah not possible, it was the first thing i attempted when purchasing them. They have no spring in the front part of the reel. Not sure how to convert them other than the method you mentioned. This hasn't been a big issue for me though as the clutch is nice on them
