After another 3 sleepless and painful nights on my battered old bedchair I've decided I can't do another one. I would like to spend no more than £170 and would like it to be as firm as possible. Any help appreciated

I got a super cocoon this year, never slept so well, as long as it's flat.
Did a night a couple of weeks ago that was worse than ever on it, in the morning I found that I had over adjusted the middle legs, sorted them out and the second night was bliss.
It's a big beast, but comfy as hell.

Just done my first night on the avid benchmark lite, very good nights sleep.

I've had the wide version of the tactical for a while now and love it. Nice and firm, super lightweight and fairly compact. In hindsight, I'd probably go for standard or compact though, as the wide boy is really quite excessive

I have the 2019 Wychwood tactical compact bed and its bloody fantastic BECAUSE I LIKE A FIRM HARD BED AND ITS VERY WELL MADE

After suffering for years, got myself a Fox Flatliner six leg bed chair two years ago. Really firm, great nights sleep and no back problems, bit more than you want to pay new but should be able to pick one up second hand.

I ended up getting a solar bankmaster and although I've only lay on it in the garden it feels amazingly comfortable. Time will tell

Another vote for the wychwood tactical bed.
I bought one in May after reading good reviews and I didn't want to spend a lot of money.It's replaced my old flatliter.
Have to say it's brilliant for me and very light .
I used a self inflating mattress at first that I had on my old flatliter but I don't even bother with it now.I have done 20+ nights on it and no back issues for me.👍
