Hi all,

Planning to do a 24 hour at Farlow's next week.

Never fished it before does anyone have any advice or the water at all?

Don't go with any pre conceived ideas
Find the fish and fish to them
Let them tell you what to do
Ask the bailiffs on the day you get there for up to date info

The other two lakes are suffering with oxygen issues at the mo and the weed cutter is on lake 1 next week so it'll either be busy, or closed

Its a prolific lake if you're on the fish. Find them, feed them whatever boilie takes your fancy and you'll be fine

Thanks for the advice. I'll check on Facebook about the lake 2 reopening and make a call on whether to go or not then.

Would the weed cutter effect the fishing at all ?

Lake2 is a good little lake imo the fish are piling on the weight and look great. Trouble is you need to get in a double swim to fish the water. They were.asking you to buddy up in them. In other words don't put ya bivvy slap bang in the peg if your fishing by yourself in a double.

Lake1 is great find the fish find a nice spot and bait up. Don't take particles as there is a big shoal of bream and I mean big shoal.

If you can get in behind it, the weed cutting boat makes the fishing fantastic!!

Interesting. Looks like they're opening lakes 2 and 3 for weekend according to Facebook.

Hopefully by getting there for gates open will be able to secure a peg.
