So due to lockdown I have been selling off all the no longer needed gear that I have amassed over the years
Now I'm able to buy some new gear but everything I try to buy is out of stock
I wanted a new chair and was going to go to angling direct to try a few out - most are out of stock
I then started looking at other shops and it's either no stock or full price
Solar stuff is very thin on the ground, avid is nearly none existent and trakker is very low stock
Would anyone have any idea when the boat from China is due in
All the companies are advertising this years new products but there doesn't seem to be any available

I was in browns of Leighton buzzard yesterday. They had stock of chairs. Bivvys. Barrows. Luggage etc. Most of the peg boards were fairly well stocked and they had a ton of bait, pop ups, liquids etc.

The comment was more about the shortage of new stock and full prices
Was in a local shop last week and they looked in desperate need of some new stock
Looks like covid and China has caused a shortage in the market place
Makes you wonder how long the big manufactures can survive without stock to sell
Looking at a lot of the solar and avid gear and it's out of stock everywhere

Is all the stuff made in China? If so they can afford to stay shut for a very long time, its the importer/distributor and shops here that sell it that will suffer.

I've been told that a lot of Nash stuff isn't expected until November now, if it wasn't in the most recent container shipment

Contacted solar and they tell me they have a shipment due in at the end of next week
Korda are saying a shipment of the compact next week
Saw a ridge monkey delivery to Hull angling so it looks like things are finally starting to be replenished
