Thinking of going here next week for a session, just wondering what it's like, is it good for fishing on the surface?

Is it also worth Going for the Cats?

get your running trainers on mate haven't been in donkeys but used to see people sprinting to swims when the gate was opened

there are loads of cats mate , highly unlikely that you wont catch !

Used to enjoy going there in the summer and having a few off the top, but fished it about 6 weeks ago with a friend and the water was pea green and didn't see many fish caught

if the water quality has improved im sure you will have a few

Its ok over there and fairly easy, carp to mid 20s and some big cats in there. From their facebook page its been very busy but where hasnt, seems to have calmed down now.

Would suggest midweek if you are going though. Pea lane isnt far from it and used to be quieter, although dont think any cats in there
