Does anyone have opinions on these inflatables.
I like the size and sewn in ground sheet of the Tfg, but like the canopy of the chub. A friend of mine has offered to see the ground sheet into the chub, maybe?
Anyone have any experiences?

if you don't need a overwrap and a loose groundsheet is okay then the Airbrid but only if the price is alot lower
Tfg also looks very good, unfortunately in Belgium we cannot use a groundsheet everywhere
Some other inflatable bivvy's i found:
-Kampa air (99% out of stock)
-Abode Air-Inflatable Dome
-Pelzer Air Dome 10.000
-MK Air Dome 2.5
if you don't need a overwrap and a loose groundsheet is okay then the Airbrid but only if the price is alot lower

Thanks, I did notice that the chub has a pole at the back. Sort of negates the Tfg canopy pole.
Yes I agree with your comment on the price.
I've seen a Tfg for 299 and a chub for 190.
My head says Tfg and heart chub.
I'm just wondering if there are any horror stories about either?

Chub airbrid for 199 is the 1 man: 290 x 220 x 146
Tfg Mk3 2man size:
Width 350cm x Height 162cm x Depth 290cm 14kg
1 Man:
Width = 290cm Height = 135cm Depth = 250cm Weight = 11kg (135 high is very low)
On their website the sizes of the MK2 are actually the sizes of the MK3 ...
If sew in groundsheet is no problem and you have the money for it get the Mk3 2 man imo, if the 2 man is to big then the Chub airbrid 1 man
From what I have seen from the Chub airbrid is good quality have only used it once and bought a Trakker slx v3 plus for 314, (groundsheet with peg points and a overwrap is a must for me) it is as easy to set up and take down as an inflatable one.

I have the Kampa 1 man and wrap it has a sewn in groundsheet but I really am not a fan of the sewn in groundsheet
the reason being if you go fishing for a few days and you get a lot of rain the ground turns to mud and when you come to pack up you have got all your muddy sewn in ground sheet you got to wrap up bloody nightmare

Thanks. I only go for 1 or once a year 2 nights.
I did one night recently and it poured all day and night. I got soaked, everything. Hence the sewn in ground sheet is very appealing! Canopy a must!
Yes you have a good point regarding cleaning, I hadn't thought of that!

It's not sewn in is it?
Mine has a zip, so I could unzip and keep it separate if needed.

Had a kampa 1 man but it was way too low and heavy for me otherwise it was excellent.

Well, I think the decision has been made for me.
I popped into my local GODoors today and they had the Tfg ones for £210.
I don't know if they are mk 1,2?? I reserved one and will unpack it in the shop to check. if it's MK1 I may leave it?
