Going to a lake in france and these look perfect as the lake is pretty shallow so help get a bit of a spread. Fishing is 100-120 yards mainly would the large go that far or better with the Midi.
Anybody actually using them how far short of the spot have you found clipping them up I presume it will be something like 2 wraps and I presume this will vary dependant on bait boilie, particle, pellet etc.

I found the big one a nightmare , the midi one is a lot easier to use the distance you require is quite easy to achieve i clip up 3.5 wraps short

Only used the big one and I'd say 80yards or so is the max distance for using it comfortably for a while. How far short you clip up depends on how hard you hit the clip, and what baits you are using. Things like boilie and bigger pellet or particle then 3 or 4 wraps short, bits like hemp and small pellet then more like 2wraps short. All depending on just how big of a spread you want. Best thing is to play about for a while and work out what's best for you

Yes i would ive tried it several times by popping a marker up at the range im fishing and seeing where the baits go, im using boilies around 15mm

That's been my experience too. Have to hit the clip hard.
