After a long break I'm in the process of getting back on the bank. The next purchase is rod support.
Going to be fishing a few venues with mixed bank sides, including wooden platforms.
Really love the look of the Korda Black Singlez system and yes I know it's expensive but I'm ok with that as the quality looks amazing.
Anybody have anything to say on the system that has been using it?
What other options should I look at? Don't fancy a rod pod as I think they look clumsy.
Budget is £250 max

Worth having a look at the Custom Angling Solutions Modulus Satellite kit too. His work is superb and would just about be in budget without adding the pod conversion bar to the package he does 👍🏻

I think goal posts look class, if you buy stage stands it should just about cover most places you would be fishing. Jag, solar, Matrix and Summit do some nice gear.

I've the singles in black, they are crap..snapped one of the stabilisers,turned the points over on the spikes.they don't hold tight if raising the sticks..used them 3 times.oh and with neville alarms they don't really fit nice in the bag.plus to much pissing about putting them away in it..

Got the stainless set up and love them. Prefer them to single sticks and a pod.

I had a long break also and got back into it a couple of years ago.
I use single sticks only, not even buzz bars or goalposts. Tried bars, didn't like it, and defo not even considering a pod. Currently using Fox banksticks with the screw/auger point (powerpoint?) which are very good so far. I have JRC stage stands and the inners of the Fox banksticks fit perfectly in these so can always leave the alarms and butt rests attached to the same sticks, just change the outers.
These (Fox Powerpoint) are great for what they are but not sure how long they will last under heavy use. When time comes for replacement I will buy some titanium banksticks from Defiant MPS. If I had known then what I know now I would have bought Defiant MPS from the start.
