Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing the jag 2 plus 1 buzz bars. I know they are very tight with 3 rods and big pits. Would I be better off buying 2 front bars as opposed to front and rear? Or does anyone who uses them think front and rear is fine? Thanks

I use a front and a rear. If you do a search from a while back there's a thread where I posted up pictures with measurements and rods on them etc

It was just too tight for my liking so i got two fronts.

Thanks, I have seen that post, I think I'm leaning towards two fronts as the rear seems a bit tight but was wondering if I used a front one at the back how it would affect a two rod setup. Would they be too far apart.

Front and rear is fine with 2 rod set up, i prefer front and front with a 3 rod

Thats what I was thinking, but if you buy another front for a 3 rod set up then that defeats the idea of 2 plus 1

Just seen you pictures and that's really helped, I like the spacing. Can you tell me is that an Nano or Micro pod? That is a perfect set up you have there.

Hi Dane. You might not be looking at my post as I don't own a nano or micro. I use a super compact pod. It was some time ago that I took the pictures but I thought I just put the bars on single sticks in the garden. Can you post a link to what you were looking at. But to answer your question in general terms, the nano and the micro are exactly the same pod. The only difference is the length of the middle carbon bar. The nano bar allows the pod to fit in a two rod bag, the micro pod fits in the three rod.

Yes. There are threaded adapters that I have screwed into my bars all the time that allow me to use them either goalpost or with the super compact pod. Or obviously on single sticks which Is how I use mine most of the time.

This is 2+1 on a super compact pod. Showing the bars converted to a goal post/snag bar arrangement. This is a front and a rear. Not two fronts
