I'm looking for a 3 rod made up holdall with a flap that pivots next to the zip, when it is closed there is no chance of the line being caught, OR is there a better method, I have a Fox one that is quite compact with only 1 outside pocket, it would be ideal if it had pockets for a compact brolly and bank sticks etc, new or used in good condition, any advice welcome.

When I said new or used I didn't mean for someone to sell me one that has not earned a THUMB

I've just gone over to the 3 rod Aqua quiver with 3/4 sleeves from the Trakker NXG 3 rod case. I think it's spot on, the quiver is not to big being 3 rod, has an outside pocket and enough room in the main part for a brolly, landing net and weigh sling. The 3/4 sleeves are good too, big enough to take big pits and good thick fabric. This may be one to look at rather than a holdall type one.

Why not buy one with the zip down the straight edge, then the line is on the opposite side to the zip.

Thinking anglers sleeves, and there quiver, great protection, well priced and very light... Easy to get the rods out and in...

The Cotswold Aquarius Trident delux 2/3 rod and 4/5 rod have a flap in front of the zip to stop the line going into the zip. Some say they are expensive- but then so is having a rod repaired. Even my single floater rod sleeve cheap and cheerful Tracker has the same.

as I was wearing my stupid head....I sold it , I will look at the
