Does any know if the v2 version (trakker or cyprinus) fits the v1 version. I have contacted both companies and cyprinus said probably not and trakker said no but I am just double checking. Cheers

Probably yeah. Theres always the slim chance some ones wrong for whatever reason. Did get 2 slightly different stories from both companies as regards to the skull cap for the v1 though.

Seems a little strange - I have the V1 skull cap on the V2 brolly - so not sure why the V2 skull cap wouldn't fit the V1 brolly ?

According to trakker the skull cap idea only came about just before the release of the v2, the impression I got was trakker never made one for the v1. The spare parts guy also said the v2 version wont fit as the eyelets are a different size and the fabric would have to be cut which is not recommended. Cyprinus said they stopped making them alongside trakker. So I am quite unsure really. I was hoping someone had cyprinus v2 version on a v1 tempest

I've also got a V1 cap on a V2 brolly, I can't see any reason why they wouldn't fit the other way round. In fact I've looked at a V2 version and apart from the colour, I can't see any difference......

Either the person you spoke to at Trakker is clueless or perhaps trying to sell you something?

Told you Bert, matey you spoke to is clueless. There are no eyelets on a skull cap, and no material would need to be cut. Just buy one and I'll show you how it fits if need be

Are you sure there wasn't some confusion about the v1 and v2 Bivvies not the brollies, that would make sense then

I purchased a skull cap for my V1 brolly when I bought the brolly so definitely avialable When the V1 was available new.
