I haven't got the 12ft versions because I already have 2 sets of 12ft custom Torrix but if the 12ft are as good as the 8ft recons you will be very happy 👍

I've got three of the 12ft 3.25 and love them. To the point that I never use my other 12ft 3.25 rods that are three times the price

They scratch a little bit on the telescopic joint after a while as they are a Matt finish but things like that don't bother me any more.

Had fish up to mid 30's on them no problem and they seem to cast well

What size reel are you using?

I was using SS3000 but more recently Okuma 8000

I think that the caught carp do not understand anything about reels, they do not care about the brand of the reel
Okuma and daiwa... I think the T-Rex is suspiciously similar to the ss3000

Funny you should say that but we we all have differing opinions

I personally think SS3000s are rubbish and the Okuma reels are streets ahead

I'm getting too old to care what anyone else thinks and laugh at the millennials paying silly money for reels that were made before they were born

Having said all that if I was young I would probably be the same. It was Mitchell 300's when I started but SS3000s are definitely better than them!
