Any idea how I can keep water out of my delkims?
I got the snag ears so I have the screw on battery cover and they have been fine for years, then the other night one of them **** it's self and gave me a screamer non stop even when my rod wasn't out. Help!

I noticed a guy the other day that must have the same problem he had 3 square bits of plastic that must have had 2 holes drilled through them that the snag ears went through and they sat on top of the alarms personally when i had mine and they used to continuously bleep when it rained i would just lay my aqua combi Matt on top. I sent mine to delkim and they needed new Jack plugs and were fine after that

My TXi Pluses went back to Delkim for repair, as they would lose sensitivity in any kind of damp conditions.
Unfortunately, the " repair " didn't help ,so they had to go into retirement as my spare/guest set.

I had that once on a mega hot sunny day, both delks went on meltdown in full view, never did it again. Ironically it was the haunted swim on kingfisher lake, near Totton, a lady drowned herself in that one many years ago and then haunted that spot. Used in heavy rain, sun, ice afterwards no other probs. Doesn't help I know but it has answered my unanswered question from way back then

You could ask Daletronics to re waterproof them. He's just done a cracking job on my mates Delkim optonics.

This happened to all three of mine over 2 or 3 years. After the last repair I had to send the ****ing receiver in too for a software upgrade.
Switched to Fox until Delkim could make a waterproof alarm (which they now have in the TXI-D by the looks of it). But my Fox's have been so flawless that I can't see me going back.

Same here , pity as I loved the delks , had a few sets over the years with various faults , I went over to the Ntxrs many years ago and haven't looked back , one thing I must have 100% faith in is my alarms , so I've stuck with the Fox
