My new water requires you to enter the water to land a fish, does anybody have any tips on how to get into them quickly? I managed to get a decent carp on my last session ,what a flaff to get into waders quickly, I don't really want to be sat in them waiting as bites are not often.

Roll them down in so the boots you just step into seems to be the way everyone does it

A good friend of mine sleeps in his waders and a snugpak sasquatch - he's never been wet or cold when landing one.

Can't you just net the fish, secure it, then put your waders on?

Use 2 metal rulers to widen the hole for you to stick ur foot in. Works 4 me.

If the top section of the boot part of the waders flops together and makes getting you foot in tricky, try cutting a 2 inch band out of a plastic flower pot (about the same size/diameter as the top of the boot section) and use them to hold them open to allow your feet to go in quickly,

I think he means you cant land them without waders, not that its a rule

Just roll them down and have them by the rods like THIS, step into them and pull them up, once you get used to it can be done with a rod in your hand without too much faff. Some makes are better than others at this depending on the boot design, the best I have found for this are the Vass 700s due to the slightly shorter boot
