Any one use pin point hooks. Are the Nash ones the same as the German company.
Also been advised ESP hooks as well.
Normally just use a different well known brand of hooks but mate advised me on pin point so I looked them up.

I like pin point, they are sharp but not so sharp the blunt easy

I use them for my chod/hinge stiff rigs I'm very confident using them I had two fish out last weekend.

Used in the right circumstances, they are fine. I like the wide gape on them. Had a few whilst floater fishing or Chub fishing.

They are very lightweight though. Had one open up when bullying a fish out of some reeds so won't be using them if that situation may arise.

I love the Nash Fang pinpoint hooks super sharp super strong pulled a 44lb out of two reed beds. I highly recommend them

I was using the ones that have the 45 degree angles on the bend.

I have dug out the fang hooks and they do appear stronger in comparison.

If I can have a little moan, the Nash hook range, especially the fang and the twister were already sharp enough before they became pin point, now they are still sharp but nowhere near as resilient and perhaps it's me but I can never get a good point on them again. Can see why they have changed, they sell more now

Have to agree, I'm not usually a Nash basher, but the hooks were better before the pinpoint range. Used to get twisters sharpened by Jason Hayward from Walkers. They were mean hooks.
