Hi lads

Been trying to book on Ladywood lakes for 5 nights but not been able to get through past week and typically the phone line is not on tonight I'm wanting to go from Sunday 21st June- comeback the 26th Friday morning

What lakes would you recommend they also must be allowed dogs

hiya mate

a lad I know has recommended leisure lakes in Southport to me. not fished it yet myself but he says it's a good spot.

going to try it for a couple of nights in July hopefully

If the camp site is openot expect a loud night the pub the final frontier is right facing the lake if your after peace and quiet it iseems not the place to go if you don't mind a bit of entertainment and rowdy behaviour all main season of coarse well you will get it and should havexpect a few fish as well fished it a couple of times and always caught

any tips on bait? I'm told it's only about 2m deep at the most, is that right?

Not worried about it being deadly quiet as going with a mate so will be having a social too

Yer it's not very deep when I've fished it I've always fished the far bank and it's shallow I've had to wade out a few times to net fish to shallow to bring them to the net after a dry spell when I've fished I've always spread about 1kg at start of sespionage over a tennis court area fished three rods over it withas bags and pellets then toped up each part of swim that did the fish it's been a while but Nash scopex squid red fishEd well on there and I found Northen special red and mainline plum pop ups did well from the farest bank I headed for the middle if no one else is on that side you can fish the whole side from the middle pegs most fish came to the road side of the swim rather than the woods side of the lake plus middle is ideal for a 2 or 3 man social
