Does anyone know why these were discontinued?
Basically purchased two a couple of years ago and messaged the retailer who said they were waiting on Shimano for stock, would have liked the third to make it look 'tarty'. That was obviously a fair time ago now, but I can only see them available from Germany off eBay for nearly double what I paid!

Probably bringing out a new updated model or they didn't sell enough of them so discontinued them perhaps

Ring around some shops,they might have some old stock sitting around.I managed track down a reel for a mate and the shop did it at cost
