I've managed to sort through all my old terminal tackle this afternoon.

After 6 years what bits should I look to replace?

I've got various fluro hooklengths, braids etc.

How long do they last?

Last for 10s of years mate I wouldn't worry as long as it's been kept out of sunlight.

If its solar sell it, it'll be worth a fortune.

Anything else bin it unless it's Korda, it's the only brand stands the test of time.

Test lines out for strength if they are acceptable then use them, braids last forever.if hooks swivels etc are rust free all will be fine.

What about flourocarbon mainlines?

they last a lot longer than mono as they are unaffected by UV

Sounds like I will be ok then, they haven't seen sunlight for a while.
