Hi,

I like the look of the carplounge rig release and I want to fit this on to my bait boat.

Would I need some kind of speed controller to operate it?
Any help much appreciated.

Presumably it's the magnetic plunger type?
If so it looks quite simple. Depending whether it drops when energised or de energised, you would need either a normally open or normally closed relay in the power line to the rig release.
Either drive the relay coil with a spare channel if you have one or perhaps the bait drop circuit.
