Does anyone know of shops doing full carp set ups?
Looking to get my dad a carp set up after being away from fishing for 20 years.
nothing to beefy as he will just be fishing for low doubles in the local estate lake.
I want it too be new £500 budget.

Phone someone like Johnson Ross and they can put something together for you. Can't think of anywhere decent that will sell a standard complete package

Imagine you could make a decent set up yourself for that, especially if it's only a two rod set up.
If it's a small estate lake I'd go for something along the lines of chub small water rods, some shimano baitrunners, 10-12lb line, a pair of fox micron M/MX, some single sticks. That wpuld leave £150 for a net, matt, bobbins, some bits of terminal tackle, etc.

Have a look at the Sonik rod and reel bundles think they
are under 200 for a two rod set up and includes the net

2 x Daiwa D Carp - £80
2 x Shimano 8000's - £80
I've never spent more than £50 on a rod. Apart from the Fox EOS range, never had any issues. Same with reels apart from a couple of handle issues with some Daiwa Emcasts.
Unless you're fishing massive pits with massive fish, even a 2lb tc rod and a 6000 baitrunner will suffice.
