As title suggests, im looking to purchase 3, maybe 4 new rods for around £120ish each to replace my current rods.
Looking for 3.25lb - 3.5lb and good casting and fish playing abilities........... yes, i want champagne but only have a lemondae budget!!
Also, Reels too......... open to suggestions for roughly the same amount of money per reel

At the price point you have stated your looking at second hand very well used custom built rods which will probably be quite tatty unless you get lucky or you go for some middle of the range factory built new out the sleeves, personally I don't like second hand when it comes to rods.
Plenty rave about the freespirit CTX but I would also add Shimano Tx4's into the equation, I have Tx2's and Tx9's and cannot fault them they are at different ends of the factory built range but are both nice to use which would allow a little extra in the budget for the reels, on the reel front it's whether your a Shimano or Daiwa fan (other makes are available) and what type of reel your after baitrunner, big or small pit but for your budget possibly the ultegra xsd or speedmaster xtc or Daiwa emblem 35/45 scw reels.

As for rods, your not the 1st person to recommend the shimano's, a guy I know said about the TX2's. Will have a look at the freespirits too.
As for reels, currently the 10000xte's, which are lovely reels but looking for big pits due to fishing bigger waters abroad more frequently.

Currently using Daiwa powermesh 12' 2.25lb paired with shimano 10000xte's which are fine for most of my UK fishing, hoping to get new rods and reels as casting range is an issue, plus doing more abroad Stuff too

I should of mentioned the Penn Affinity another reel that many use, I had these when they first came out but the anodising on the metal turned from black to bronze in the sun but they have sorted this out now I believe.
