As Title.....got some rods that I want to use tournies with but the reel seats are to small.....what size do I need please?

I've found a 18mm as a minimum and they are a crazy tight fit, tournaments were released in the days of thick blanks and 20mm reel seats and they fit well. I took a millimetre off each corner of the reel seat with a hobby file in the end for peace of mind with 18mm reel seats.

I never thought of filing the reel seat a bit, if it doesn't work I've not lost anything as I'll have to cut em off anyways

Fuji DPS 20. The DPNS 20 tends to be a tight fit.
