Hi, has anybody used the fox armour mesh? I am starting on a new lake that is full of gray's and would would appreciate any advice please

Yes I've used it a fair bit when using a soft bait in a water full of silvers.
Very easy to use.

I once made a stick mix up with this and gave it my mate to use....imagine his surprise 12hrs later when he reeled in and it was still attached

I've used it before on a lake that was rammed with them. Unfortunately, they sometimes managed to split it open with their claws, so I resorted to using shrink-wrap over my hook-baits, which was more efficient.

I also found shrink wrap far better than the armamesh, i have also wound in after crays had been messing about with hookbaits where they somehow managed to tangle hookpoint up in the mesh rendering the rig useless.

Agreed , I've found the same , I just use the Korda shrink wrap now

I found crays could tear it and get to the bait inside. You might just as well stick to womens stockings, its cheaper.

If they are that bad go to wooden balls on the hook. Check out Ken T's Wooden Balls thread in Bait section.

Useless for Crays , you will need to shrink wrap hookbaits

Used the mesh and shrink wrap. Both good. I am currently using the Tackle Box mesh sheet. Worth considering

Shrink wrap or wooden balls soaked then on a bait screw. Have a look at ken townley's post on the top of the bait section
