Massive long shot I know, I find myself with no tickets this year and am looking for a syndicate that's not super busy, even if I add my name to a list I'm prepared to wait and find somewhere less serious in the mean time.

Thanks for the shout back, I'd rather a syndicate as the security for parking is usually better, I've done a little on the Lea valley lakes and they all used to be rammed, is that still the case?

St George's in Shepperton, mid Kent fisheries, medway Valley, thinks these are all places you can possibly get straight on, don't know if they're any good for you or not.

Thanks, spent a lot of time on mid kent a few years ago. Did one of the Medway valley lakes too, they were packed at the weekend. St. George's didn't really grab me. Fussy aren't I!

I haven't been down there for 18months now, I used to be on Nazeing Meads.
The North, very rare to be unable to find a swim, rare to see an angler other than by the outsluice to the Central, or by the inflow from the Lea Navigation.
The Central could get busy especially along the 'drive-in movie' bank leading to the Sailing club and the causeway between the Central and South.
The South, nearly always plenty of water.
I do know what you mean by parking though; although you can get a car park key the car parks are open access and next to footpaths. I never had any problems.

True, the drive in movie bank and the car park swim between Brackens and the Central, and some swims on the road between North and Central you can fish out of your car.
Some gorgeous fish in there, and it does produce in the winter.
The North you might be a bit further from your car, although again a few swims you can fish out of the car.
Now that is hard work!
