A mate of mine is thinking about selling his four Century Hy-bor Stealth Titanium rods. They are in very good condition and numbered from HST/154 to HST/157.
Are there any of you who have a clue about the value of these rods?

I could only find one completed listing with a single 3.5lb version and it wasn't sold.

As a collector i would say max. £120/150 ea, depends on condition/ orginale Clothbags

The only old carp rods with real value are split cane and Hexagrah carbon, and inparticular Mark IV Avons. Even slightly battered they will fetch £400 each

No tubular carbon rods are very valuable used, despite the make or original price (basically because there are so many good ones about in a saturated market)

The Hy Bor are retro and quite rare, if absolutely mint and custom built you might get around £150 per rod if you are jammy

Are these the older versions or the newer versions sold far more recently in germany i think as the name suggests the latter.

They are the older version and I think they were Century's custom version of the Hy-bor rods. Good condition and with bags. I have pics I can email.
