I have the brolly advanced 100 but starting to suffer with my back after years and years of small shelters,
Thought about changing to the Bivvy advanced but the measurements are almost identical to the brolly advanced,, Is this correct does anyone know ??
I'm now thinking of getting a v2 as the stated dimensions seem larger and more suited to what I'm after !!!

Why not consider the Brolly Advanced 100T which is 15cm or so taller than the standard 100. Would be better for your back if it's the height that is the issue. Failing that, the new Tempest 200 is huge in every dimension! You could probably stand upright in it!

Theres some good deals on the v2 tempest Xl at the minute. I bought one a few months ago and theres stacks of room inside it without it being overly large.

I'm just very confused the the sizing,
Brolly advanced stated sizing 250cm wide, 220cm deep, 125cm high,
Bivvy advanced stated sizing 250cm wide ,235cm deep, 135cm high
tempest v2 states sizing 270cm wide ,240cm Deep,140cm high
Really wanted the Bivvy advanced but it seem pointless to chance my brolly advanced for 10cm

The tempest brolly 100T would be a good choice if you want to stick with a tempest model it has much better head height and higher door way

Bear in mind that the bivvy heights quoted are never the available height of the door when open. You can take 10-20cm off for this!

I had the same concerns. One of their you tube ads clearly says " retains the footprint of the old model"
I couldnt find any way of contacting Trakker to ask the question. so was going to ask them at the Farnborough show ... but that was cancelled.
ordered one anyway as I wanted the new style mozzie front.
Height is not an issue for me but I can only just get my bed in across the back.... I had to double check that I had not been sent the Brolly instead of the Bivvy.

Ok so that does confirm that it's marginally larger than the brolly advanced that I have!! Why would they create it so close to the brolly size ! I think I'm going to flog my brolly advanced and pick up a v2, I remember my friends being more than adequate in size when he had one a coupe of years ago! And plus you can pick them up cheep now !

What bedchair mate, I've a standard trakker oval bed and avid benchmark. Can't say I've struggled.

Nash Indulgence wide .. similar length as the trakker oval but the shape of the oval looks as if it will be more useable in a smaller space.
