Just found a bottle of this in the cupboard it must be at least two years old and the label has worn off... A few questions
Firstly it seems to have started to solidify in part and now has some solid particles floating in it i am assuming it will still be ok to use?
Secondly if using it to cook up some particle (pigeon conditioner in this instance) what level per dry kg would you recommend? No info on the hinders site, other talin type products seem to be about 2ml per kg but as this is flavoured and not pure talin i wondered if it would be any different?
Emailed Hinders but wanted to get prepping some today so thanks for any help provided.

All my betalin bottles (Blackcurrant, original and almond) had this deposit in them. A quick vigorous shake and most of it re-dissolves. I'm assuming this is the added betaine crystalising as it comes out of solution.
However, the essential baits Thaumatin-b contains added betaine and so far it's remained clear. They are both identical essentially, but I suspect that the hinders variety contains more betaine which is why it's coming out in solution.

Found some hinders betalin and banana but the best before date is March 21. I want to soak some wafters in it but won't use them all by March. Will this stuff go off or will it last on coated hookbaits
Thanks
