Got mine last September and love them. Handled a foul hooked catfish of 48.12. Not had a big carp yet. Great upto around 120yds.

I dont use solid bags just short sections of the stocking. I have no problem with 3oz on mine although I'm probably more comfortable with 2.5oz. But that's probably down to near 40yrs match fishing. 3oz feels like a beach coaster to me lol.

You getting them second hand or found some new new ones. I use mine on smallish waters or short chucks as got a set of 3.5 aircurves now.

I've bought a pair but not had chance to use them yet, really nice through action but just wonder if they can take 3 oz lead small solid bag, hoping to do upto 100 yards but I have A set 13ft 3.5 Wychwood d 201's That I just bought if not.
