Does anyone use the ridgemonkey vault power change thing ? ( Not to shore the proper name for it) are thay any good and how long do that last charging tablets and phones ?

Not owned so can't help but would say all this is covered in their website. There are also two different ones power rating and so all depends which one you were going for??

Not had any problems with mine. Over 48hr session use, which is pretty normal for me, it never depletes by more than 25%. I guess it depends on what your expectations are...

Ive had them since release the older model and now I've got the newer c smart charger

Both have been brilliant I tend to work on the bank so power a MacBook an iPad and my phone probably overkill for 48 hours but I use it loads and not just on the bank and have been very happy with them

Me and my boy use the older model been for 3 24hour sessions and it's still got 3 out of 4 bars left

I was looking at the Ridge Monkey, Fox & Atom power packs a couple of weeks ago when a few shops had 10% off but wasn't sure of just how good they were. I currently use a couple of Mophie 20,000 portable chargers which charge my iPhone several times and have done the job for a good 18 months.

Several years ago a few of the lads on my local lake made their own power packs with some Fire Alarm Panel batteries in a hard case (adaptable box from CEF) and a car 12v accessory socket.

Not what you asked but i didn't fancy paying £140.00 for a ridge monkey so i bought an Anker equivalent who specialise in making such things for £32.99.

Search Amazon for Anker PowerCore 20100

Edit: the Anker is not an equivalent battery. Perfectly fine for charging phones over a weekend, however.

I've got the bigger one I think it's 72mah or something. I used it for a week fishing charging phones, iPad and cameras ect and it still had some juice left. I love that it has a USB C as this charges my iPhone pro much faster than a normal usb. I use it when I'm on nights at work or in the car for the kids iPads. It lasts an age I would be lost without it now.

It's a bit overkill for overnighters but I'm glad I bought it. When you see a 20 percent off Ebay code goto Fishtec the seller and usually the voucher works I got mine for about £140 - £150 can't remember exactly

I also have an Anker, but you can't really compare the spec of the £32 Anker with the £140 RM. The RM has twice the capacity, USB-C and a 12v output.

Agreed the Anker is more than enough for me, but some people must really love charging things.

If its mAh your looking for then this one seems great value @£21

Fairenough.

Its perfect for charging my phone on climbing weekends and the odd day sesh.

I've got the largest capacity ridge monkey and have had to send mine back twice both for not charging but to be fair to ridge monkey their customer service has been spot on and recieved a new one on both occasions

I've got the first model they released and I've had no problems with it at all , it's a really good peace of kit .

I've got an Anker charger. Which is good. But seems to take a while to charge my phone and even longer for my tablet. Also I find I can use all the charge up in less than a 48 hour session
