Used the standard synchro and found it a bit coily and doesn't sink very well. What do people compare it to the loaded version? Iv heard the loaded isn't as good, but just wondering before redoing the reels. Waters weedy, never had any issues with the standard stuff regarding strength/cut offs. Be nice to have line sinking a bit better tbh

Bump. Just a quick question for anybody in the know

I am about to spool up with normal XT again. I notice there are two different spools when I look at the sellers?

One has a black label and one has a green label?

Is the green label a newer version or a different colour, I've seen one mention translucent but I wasn't sure if this was a choice?

I'm after the dark coloured one

the green is the newer version have used it for years now and wouldn't change. the colour is fine on the new one I wouldn't be worried about one being slightly darker than another I have used it on crystal clear weedy waters and found it was spot on. the synchro XT is also great for chucking a lead 15lb should get you around 130yards without to much trouble. the XT behaves way better than the loaded. if your having issues with the XT don't switch to the loaded its a pain in the arse. I don't know why there was a need for a loaded I never thought that the XT preformed bad at anything really. I would pick the XT over the loaded every time.

And the line is still dark in colour?

I don't like clear lines

When they say translucent I think it's referring to it being a green kind of opaque colour mate not actually a clear line. Either way it's spot on
