Hopefully someone can help me out...I am thinking of going back to fox swingers this year, and I am looking at purchasing the fox micro swingers, but if I remember correctly the ariel on the txi's fouls with the plastic connector thing on the fox swingers.
I've looked at the fox black label mini swingers which has a hockey stick type connector which will overcome this issue, but I want the zero weight option which the micro swingers provides, and the black label mini swingers doesn't....
I was looking a while back at fishing pods, and noticed a website which made a stainless 20mm ish extender for your alarms with a male and female 3/8 thread which would overcome the problem by raising the alarm 20mm ish But I can't seem to find the website with these on...
I have googled 3/8 bolt extenders and there is other possible parts which do the same job, it's just the tackle tart in me is coming out and because I know you can get stainless ones which will look better on my pod / bank sticks I want them and not the make do ones......
Again I know I could file a grove in the black plastic connector to fit around the txi ariel but ideally would prefer the extenders.....

It was the matrix ones I originally seen, but the Gardner ones will do the job nicely....

If I remember rightly. Don't the fox brackets have three holes in them where the alarm fits?
Could you not use one of the holes that are not central?

With no additional weight, the black label mini's are v light mate.

The ones I had only had one hole, I seem to remember they did do one with 3 holes....I now use the quick release can locks and was thinking that might give me enough clearance without the adaptors as they seem to be out of stock everywhere, that's a little fishing fix for tomorrow. Digging out the old swingers etc and sing if they fit
